Tenshi no Uta

Incredibly cute game that reminds me of Breath of Fire 1 in its stat distribution and world/exploration progression.
It's got one of those worlds that are incredibly linear yet feel easy to get lost in because of all the walking between landmarks.
The world is actually pretty big and theres a couple of side quests for good items you can do.
They add a lot to the world in its celtic lore with all the little creatures.
The game takes place in the UK and the plot is very christian.
They even talk about christ himself and the main girl is (spoiler alert) the Virgin Mary's daughter even though in this game I guess
she's not the Virgin Mary who gave birth to Jesus? just uses the same title (maria-sama)
Despite the encounter rate being insanely high, the game is pretty forgiving.
Bosses are easy, you have lots of mp to take down generic enemies with, dying takes you to the start of the dungeon instead of reloading a save.
Theres even a memo option on the menu to look over important things npcs have said to you!!!
My biggest gripe is I feel the party members dont get enough focus or characterization to make the emotional scenes strong.
Claire's goodbye at the end was sad but I never really got attached to her. The one party member that dies
didnt feel very emotionally charged. One more complaint I have is that your endgame team is 1 physical attacker and 3 mages,
which makes most random encounters use up a lot of mp since its the only way you can kill the enemies pretty quickly.
Very happy I finally got to play this. Hoping someone makes a tl for it so I can play it again and properly enjoy it,
since my english is fluent and my japanese is not, so I struggled and couldn't enjoy it as much as I shouldve.
