Langrisser V

I have very conflicting feelings about this one. Half the maps were kind of ass. Half the maps were pretty good. I like the switch in tone to a more character focused story but I feel like it didn't go too far in the character focus direction leaving me feeling a little disappointed in Lambda's character. She's my favorite still cause girl who learns emotions and feelings is one of my fav types of characters. I also felt disappointed with Sigma's story. I was expecting more than just him being a military leader who got framed. Clarett and Brenda were pretty good. The latter especially I loved her past fling with Lainforce. Alfred's character is definitely the weakest I don't like him hes lame. Lanford is fine but i already liked him from langrisser 4 so not really this game's characterization's why.

I'm glad the romancing stuff is much easier here than in 3 and 4. The music is also really really good! Glad they got Iwadare back. The presentation is phenomenal. The maps are also a lot shorter than the ones in 3 and 4...which is nice cause i did 2 or 3 in one session sometimes. The crimzonians' plotline was cool! Clarett establishing democracy in El Sallia is cool! Lambda's plotline went by too fast. Alfred's was stupid. Lanford's was ok. Sigma's was disappointing. I really liked Omega though he's a cool jobber.
