Tenshi no Uta II

The thing that surprised me the most is how player friendly it is? You always have enough money to buy things. You never have to grind.
You recover HP and MP on level up so you dont have to save all your mp for the boss.
The game also makes it clear where you have to go. It's a kind of care for the player that in 1993 you'd only see in big games like
Dragon Quest or squaresoft RPGs....the only downside is ths encounter rate is pretty high.
Typical of this era.
The music is really nice and pleasant. It's Michiko Naruke of Wild Arms fame.
The story kinda surprised me and disappointed me at the same time...I had some idea of what happened and since it didn't fit my
exact expectations I was kinda disappointed with where the plot went sometimes. But there was a lot of unexpected stuff that pleased me.
The only big downside I can say is shion is a little disappointing as a character. I get what they were going for but it didn't hit for me.
But I'm not fluent in japanese so maybe if I was I would've enjoyed his character more.
There is so much side content and optional dungeons to explore! and every single one gives an item you'll use for a long time.
It encourages exploration greatly the visuals are also beautiful. The capabilities of the pce to make more anime oriented storytelling
really shines through with Nobuteru Yuki's character designs. Also the followup to questions left unanswered in tenshi no uta 1 was amazing.
I really hope someone translates this game so I can experience it again and properly get immersed. since I find it hard to in japanese.
