Hey, ladies and gentlemen! Did you enjoy summer? Oi oi! Even if
you say that, you're not at a manga cafe!
Rock'n'Roll Hero Muteking Murakami of course, that's it.
That's it! Around Yon Francisco...hahaha...
Phew!!!
Ah, that's right. I'm filming this summer anyways. It's already
here~ On location, I forgot to apply sunscreen only to my chest. A strange triangle came to mind (because of the v-neck).
This is where a girl is going to sink.
The devilish bermuda triangle... hahaha....
Phew!!!
Ah~ It gives me the creeps! A couple of lovers! (laughs)
There are siblings who want to kill such a flirtatious couple.
They become so noble, a requiem dedicated to the squadron of death.
This time's recommendation!
Kiminori Wakasugi's Detroit Metal City
Like MuraColumn, this manga is popular in many different circles.
A title parodying KISS's famous song Detroit Rock City, rock fans
are going crazy!
Putting the outline in a separate column, I think expressing music
immersively in pictures is extremely difficult. Because music fans
are not silent, it's a bother.
Yes, I'm talking about myself! (laughs)
How many octaves does the vocalist haveEven if you show the
technicals of the guitar in a way that's easy to understand,
such as playing very fast, it makes me think "Eh~ I'm, so
excited right now". If there's concrete melodic lyrics, it'll
feel embarrassing. However, with abstract lyrics that can come off
in various ways, it is hard to feel immersed into the world without a melody.
But this manga is a work that completely disregards all reason!
There's no need for explanation! You feel it first!!
悪い恋人
Bad Lover
How's that? You're surprised right? Kyoudai!! (laughs)
This is the soul cry of the guitarist/vocalist of Detroit
Metal City (DMC) Krauser, the protagonist of this manga!
Krauser is amazing! 48 police killing techniques, and the
demon's orb that collects the evil of this world. He killed Oda Nobunaga,
impregnated Tokyo Tower and became Roppongi Hills' father!
What a cheery, lovefilled summer! This summer I'm taking the
death metal test of courage, and I want Krauser, no, Murauser to
take me to the demon world! Bring it on!! (laugh)
Murakami-san! In a single word, how would you describe your charm?
Oi oi! What have you been doing!?
Like a service question at this point...
Kohei Murakami's charm is...
No, surely with as many stars as there are...
He shines outstandingly like Sirius...
So that's it! That!!
Saying something like that myself...
...Jeez! It's embarrassing isn't it?!
That's why (laughs), this time I recommend this one!
Me and the Devil Blues by Akira Hiramoto
Active in 1930 with only something like 29 songs left
Called the greatest poet of the 20th century by Bob Dylan.
Having a great influence on the future music of
Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones, Cream,
Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, modeled after the
Legendary Bluesman, Robert Johnson. The story of
the protagonist RJ.
It's said, "He sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads for guitar
skills". The story begins with the Crossroad Legend to those
who know it. After that, the writer's original interpretation unfolds.
When Bonnie and Clyde, from one of my favorite american movies
appeared, Murakami was completely beaten.
With tremendous drawing ability and stylish paneling, the realism of
the musical performance scenes, the dialogue and actions of
the characters feels like "Ah, you like foreign movies", it makes
me happy!
And the most remarkable point of this manga, is that the author is
the same as Agonashi Gen to Ore Monogatari!
Speaking of which, it's the best gag manga out of Kohei Murakami's
important books. The tone is a complete 180 from the previous one.
We met in 1998 when I was only 22 or 23.
You can feel the glittering sense in the gags, I've
been a fan since then.
I was laughing at the useless middle age-like Gen-san(32) with
no money, no talent, no chin and only thick body hair. It's a-mu-sing!
Before I knew it, I was the same age! (laughs)
That doesn't matter!! What are you implying??
That gap! That's the best point!
Kohei Murakami's handsome actor persona is just a disguise to hide from the world!
How far can a handsome actor go tying a rope to a pillar!
No, you don't need a rope at this time?? (laughs) Follow me~
